My heart simply broke when I heard that God had taken you home. You will always be the little boy reading Highlights with Bubba in the tree-house. Your smile was infectious as was your laughter. I close my eyes and I see you going to Brooks and Dunn for Bubba's birthday, riding your bike, eat peanut butter and jelly. You will always be remembered.

Its never easy to find the right words to say but I will be true and speak from my heart. I knew Petie through his sister, Melissa, and exactly how he has been remembered above is exactly how I remember him. One thing I remember about him is his free spirit and how he was so courageous and outgoing towards life. I would often laugh at the relationship him and his older sister had. Sibling rivalry at its best, maybe because they shared the same personalities. I will miss his smile, his laugh, and his charisma. To the family, loved ones, and friends I pray that God grant you peace and comfort in these difficult days to come.
