San Benito, TX - Jose Salvador De La Garza, 74, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Harlingen, Texas.
He was a native and a life long resident of San Benito, Texas.
Mr. De La Garza is survived by his wife Olivia De La Garza; children, Jaime (Mercy) De La Garza. Felix De La Garza, Rick (Celia) De La Garza, Laura De La Garza, Joe De La Garza and Olivia Carol (Jeff) Brady; Grandchildren, Jaime De La Garza, Jr., Angela De La Garza, Jimmy De La Garza, Eric De La Garza, April De La Garza, Michael Cortez, Laura Hernandez, Arabella Jo De La Garza, Joey Jacob De La Garza, Alexander Joe De La Garza, Jasmine Nicole Brady and Hannah Marie Brady; and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Committal service will follow to San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
