Obituary of Sheri Ann Hutchison

Please share a memory of Sheri to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sheri, 64, passed away peacefully on South Padre Island, TX on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (Her parents' Anniversary, her Messner Grandparents’ Anniversary and Her Tanner Grandparents’ Anniversary.) Just after a full pink moon and an outstanding pink sun, sunrise. She was born in Pheonix, AZ. on July 18, 1959, to her parents: George K. Messner & Sylvia C. (Tanner) Messner. Sheri wanted her family and friends to celebrate her life without a traditional funeral, celebration of life or memorial service. Let us grant her wish and remember her in our own special ways. Out of 4 girls, she was the most rebellious, adventurous, outspoken, spontaneous, never on time and the only summer birthday. Her and her sisters would hang sheets on the clotheslines and star in their own musicals with singing and dancing. As a kid, she was always super excited to get dressed up in equestrian clothes and ride on the 4th of July and Pioneer Days Parades. She turned her dream of working with animals into a hilarious reality, four times over! A petting zoo, wildlife sanctuary, vet clinic, and pet sitting gigs – she's done it all, ensuring furry friends have fun and get the care they need. Who let the dogs out? She did, even a baboon at the zoo! She loved traveling, but flying and cruises were not her cup of tea. She lived a gypsy-like lifestyle, never staying in one place for too long, always eager for her next adventure, which she believed was just around the corner. She was one with nature and could grow the most challenging of plants. She enjoyed everything that had to do with the outdoors, (Camping, Hiking, Lakes, Oceans, Beaches, Hunting for Rocks, Seashells and Crystals), Plants of all kinds (sneaking starts from the sides of the roads), she loved hummingbirds and butterflies, mushrooms and owls, wisteria, and wolves. We could go on, but her love is endless. She had a great talent for painting nature scenes, in some unusual places (before it was cool) like old milk cans, leather, old saw blades, stones, feathers, planters, if it looked paintable, she could do it. She had a huge heart and a love for animals (always said she liked them more than most people.) She provided so much inspiration and guidance to everyone who came into her life. She was a loving mother who raised 4+ wonderful children. Was always there for them, no matter what. She'd climb the tallest mountains, swim the deepest oceans, and would walk through fire barefoot for them. She was the light in total darkness & will always be a beacon of light & love in our hearts and souls. "She was always there to help the fallen get back on their feet (it didn’t matter how far they fell), she saved so many people and animals throughout her lifetime that when she made it to the Rainbow Bridge, she was greeted with more loved ones than attended Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her Parents: George K. Messner & Sylvia C. Tanner. Grandparents: George F. Messner & Margaret (Dimond) Messner, Irvin J. Tanner & Grace (Despain) Tanner; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & 1 Great Granddaughter. She is Survived by: Bonus Mom: Lynn Dyer Sisters: Penny (Morton) White, Terri Messner-Norwood & Peggy Messner.
