The other night, we had the Aurora borealis, and it made me think of you. Because the very first time I saw the northern lights was in Wisconsin when I was about 10. You woke me up in the middle of the night and told me not to wake my sleeping baby brother. You told me to put on my coat and boots. You covered my eyes as we walked outside, tilted my head up, and said, "Look at the lights." It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and I'm happy I have that memory with you.
