Letisia Hernandez Garcia, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend departed this world to be with our lord April 19, 2024, in San Benito, Texas at the young age of 53. She was born March 3, 1971, in Harlingen, Texas. Letisia, the guiding light of her family, epitomized a pure soul and a loving demeanor. Her loud personality, infectious laughter filled with joy, and her untamed but gentle spirit left lasting impressions on all who knew or had the honor of meeting her. Letisia was a woman of pride, deeply devoted to her family and filled with pride for her children and grandchildren. She was a pillar her family turned to in times of need, seeking her guidance, comfort, and unwavering love. Letisia was undeniably the life of the party and her absence in this world will leave a space that could never be amounted to nor replaced. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon M. and Emma G. Hernandez; brothers, Adan Juan Javier and Marco Antonio and her grandchild Miracle N. Garcia. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Alfonso Garcia Jr.; children, Twyla M. Garcia, Stephanie R. Garza (Ray David) and Alfonso A. Garcia; grandchildren, Nicole Calvillo, Nathaniel Garcia, Elizeo Mireles, Ella Garza, and Emilio Mireles; sister, Beatriz H. Martinez (Eddie), Victor Hernandez (Idania); sister-in-law, Aurora Garcia and Letisia’s beloved brother-in-law, Martin “Darling” Garcia; nieces, Beatrice Ortega, Leslie Hernandez; nephews, Cristian Rodriguez, Joe Ortega, Bobby Mollish, Ramon, Javier, Adan, Damian, and Anthony Hernandez. In addition, she is survived by several great nephews and great nieces. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX with cremation to follow in accordance with her wishes.
