Mrs. Garcia was like a second mother to me. Her daughter Stephanie and I grew up almost as sisters. I have so many wonderful memories with her. I remember my mom had just got a new Tahoe. She came to pick me up after a weekend with Steph and Mr. and Mrs. Garcia come to see it. Mr. Garcia stayed on the porch and Mrs. Garcia came to check it out. She opened the back door and the wind caught it and it flew up kind of hard, from the porch Mr. Garcia yells “Letty be careful they just got it. “ she said “Chingao I know Poncho it was the wind” still cracks me up thinking of it. She also was so kind and giving. She bought me school clothes one year. I send my condolences to the family and all who knew her. She was so radiant, loving, strong, beautiful inside and out, she will be more than missed. Words can’t even cover the amount of pain I know everyone is in. I thank God for my shared time with her. I love you so much Mrs. Garcia. I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for everyone around you. Forever in my heart. ❤️
