Rest Easy Leroy. We shared so many great laughs as cousins. The best one was when ama aka “ La Abuelita” as you would call her would tell us, “parecen que están tontos”, when we’d laugh so hard. Hope you’re “ buggzzing”in heaven as you used to call it.

I remember leroy mostly from little league baseball we use to practice at olmito villareal elem. It was our sandlot. Before school during lunch and the games at Los Fresnos Park.

I met Leroy and Al on a cruise to the Caribbean last year. Leroy was always laughing and joking with his brother. Mainly saying Al should pay….lol… But although the 2 brothers would joke with each other, the main topic was love for their mother and family. We became Facebook friends and all Leroy every wrote about was “God Bless and stay safe” and be kind. RIP Leroy! Love and miss your posts and hugs to your daily. Lupita, may God comfort your soul at this time. HE will caress your heart. Al… stay in touch and Hod bless you and comfort your family .

With heart weighed heavy, I will always remember and keep Leroy close and dear, for his unwavering kindness and sense of humor brightened our days. We were there for each other from the get go, when he needed me and I needed him. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his ceaseless generosity to those lucky enough to have cross paths with him. He was a gifted handyman indeed and he would always lend a helping hand when he could around the house and when he couldn’t he would always find someone that could. I used to call him a hustler to get what he needed. He loved playing with Roxy and she always looked forward to playing with him. We shared many home cooked dinners and quiet movie nights. He brought warmth into the home. You left us too soon. You will be greatly missed by me and all those that knew you well. Pave the way my dear until we meet again.

2021, Leroy was able to stop in Jacksonville, Fl., while working on the road. We had dinner and reminisced about our younger days. RIP my brother!!
