I knew Eva from childhood, riding the same bus to school and home, although we went to different elementaries. We sometimes had classes together through junior high and high school. We both went to A&I in Kingsville where we were
roommates at the “New Dorm”. She became a very dear friend. She put up with my messiness, although I did get better.
She was so smart, kind, and thoughtful. With 2 more friends, we lived off campus for a year. I have such wonderful memories
of our time together. Our lives went in different directions, but I always thought fondly of her and wished her well wherever she was. Now she is home with the Lord. My condolences and blessings to Eva’s family. She was and is a treasure.
