My deepest condolences to the Cortez Family. I remember Monica would walk pass my Mother's (Siria Garza) house that is located next to her Uncle Meme Cortez before she got ill. She would always say "Hello". She was so beautiful, polite and quite. I can remember her sitting outside in the little porch when I would drive pass the house.
Rest in peace Monica!
