Obituary of Concepcion Torres West

Concepcion “Concha” Torres West, 80 of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Ralph Alexander West Jr., her parents Teresa G. Torres and Leonardo Torres: one grandson Joseph (Mirella Garcia) Nuñez; one brother, Leonardo Torres Jr.; two sisters; Lucia Torres and Petra T. Puente.

 Left to cherish her memory are her four children; Lulu (Joe) Nuñez, Debbie West, Wesley (Victoria)West,  and  Katie (Casey) Flores; ten grandchildren, Teresa Nuñez, Melissa Nuñez, Preston Mena, Kelly West, Katlyn West, Jason West, Kirsten (Derrick) Level, Justin (Elda) Flores, Casey Flores and Courtney Flores; fourteen great-grandchildren: Jacob Campa, Nicole Nuñez, Isaac Barroso, Ariel Zamarron, Madilyn Zamarron, Audrey Zamarron, Tailynn Level, Kristian Washington, Kynlee Level, Koda Level, Kendrick Level, Quinton Flores, Justina Flores and Celia Garcia as well as one brother; Andres Gonzalo Torres and three sisters; Maria T. Munoz, Teresa T. Salinas and Esther T. Watts.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Angel Rodriguez, Orlando Ochoa, Victor Barrera, Preston A. Mena, Justin N. Flores and Rey Barrera.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 22, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas.

A Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with burial to follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
