Dear Melino family in moments like this what better then the comforting words that the Bible gives us. Jehovah never wanted humanity to die. That's why losing a loved one is a very difficult time to bear (1Cor 15:26). Jesus suffered alot when his disciples cried for the death of Lazaras (Joh 11:33-35)
Jesus is the living image of his father Jehovah. We know Jehovah understands us very well when we cry for our loved ones (Joh 14:7).Jehovah's most desire is for the moment to resurrect his faithful servants (Job 14:14&15). I hope these spiritual words help you with your loss.
Sincerely: Vanessa .Y.

Sending prayers of comfort to the Melino family. The Melinos treated me like a daughter growing up and being best friends with Debbie. I had many good meals around their table with them. Great great family. Sending love and peace. Dianne & George.

I met Joe several years ago after their condo was flooded in the hurricane. He was one of the nicest people I have met. I remember that he loved living on Padre and enjoyed the friends he had on the island.
Rest in Peace.

Dee and I met Joe in 2011. He reminded me of my own father and welcomed us like we were family. He was feisty and had a great sense of humor. We shared some special moments with him and Marilyn that we will always treasure. Our loss is heavens gain.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Joe a few years ago when he restarted our Knights of Columbus council.
From the first time we met, he always called me by name and treated me with more respect and confidence than almost anyone I had met before.
Joe worked so very hard at getting our Council united, and let us know when we were not keeping up with his vision for the future.
Joe will always be the classiest of acts that I’ll ever have the pleasure and great fortune to meet. He inspired me and I hope to strive to be a better person to others as a legacy to him.
May God bless you in a very special way for all the acts of Christianity, kindness, charity, and faith, that you lived all the days of your life.

I have fond memories of Joe from my days visiting the Melino family in Baldwinsville back in the mid/late 70's. I always thought it was great we could get 10 cent beers at the Knights of Columbus! Seemed like he really enjoyed hanging out there. He was a great father! Easy going and managed those Melino boys pretty well!
Joe will be missed by all.
Truly a great man!
