Another one of Iris' appreciate physical therapy patients. I remember her care and joyful attitude on life. I was so delighted that she took some of my stuffed animals from my Sewing Seeds of Love ministry at Clear Lake United Methodist Church on her mission trip to India.
She made a difference in the goodness of this world and is now reaping her rewards in the one who died for all of us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Watch over the family of Iris as you have watched over mine. We are you blood, and she was a sister to us all of class 91’! Many memories will be remembered and honored.
In nomine Patris et Filii, et Spiritus Sanсti

Iris was an amazingly wonderful person, sister, and friend. We met on a missions trip to Haiti, returned a second time to serve there and shared many wild adventures together introducing others to Jesus. She was my friend, but more importantly she was my spiritual sister. I will never forget how she touched my life and my heart. My life has never been the same since she walked in with that gigantic smile that took up her entire face. She taught me many things, but the most special thing for me was how she loved me right where I was at and encouraged me constantly to be more than who I had been. The moment she left this earth, she took a piece of my heart with her. Thankfully, one day, I too, will join her in the throne room worshipping our beautiful Jesus and I know it will be like we were never apart. But until that day, I will hold onto the treasured memories that we made together. Thank you to her family for sharing such an amazing person with me. May your tears of sadness turn to tears of joy as you remember her legacy - to love Jesus with all of your heart, mind, soul & strength and to dance as if Jesus was the only one watching.
Until we meet again, Iris...I will keep the memory of you within my heart.
Love always,
your Haitian Sis,
Rachel

I met Iris when she visited in Destin Florida. We became Facebook friends. Although we did not talk much I loved seeing her photos and her beautiful smile. The last time I spoke with her was right after the Harvey. I had not idea she was ill. I am saddened and shocked. What a beautiful woman she was. You could see the presence of God all around her..She is dancin with her favorite man now...THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS!!!
To all her friends and family I pray for Gods Grace to comfort you all at this time.

I worked with Iris at St. John Sports Medicine for several years. One of my personal training clients always teased Iris by calling her Daisy, Rose, etc. She always laughed and gave hugs. She will be missed as she was joy and sunshine in a beautiful soul.
Prayers and hugs to Andrew and his family.
