Obituary of Maria Gloria Perez

Maria Gloria Perez, passed away at the age of 80, on April 27, 2018, loving wife, mother and grandmother,  she was born and raised in San Benito, Texas.

 A servant of God to St. Theresa Catholic Church as Director of Social Services and the choir. She also sang with “Touched By Angels” singing group. A holy mass is being given in her honor in the Holy Land, Israel today.  She liked working in her garden, spending time with family and helping others. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband; Ismael Perez, parents; Francisco and Carolina San Pedro, sister; Natividad Cervantes.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Gracie Perez, Luis Perez, Elma Perez and Ismael Perez Jr., twelve siblings; Teresa Gaytan, Santos San Pedro, Beatrice Saldivar, Francis Sauceda, Elena Gaytan, Frank, Jose Luis and Israel San Pedro, grandchildren; Meranda Saavedra, Christopher and Steven Perez and one great granddaughter; Emma Love Perez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018  from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home then continue from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a  Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
