Al for all the time I have known him was a good soul. He was intelligent, with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He will be missed by his family , his friends , and his students . Please accept my sincere condolences. I recall the late Death calls from Al when he worked at the Harlingen Police Dept. Al would call me and always asked " Were you asleep Judge" and my answer would be People are usually asleep at 3 o'clock in the morning Al. Your services are needed, please, please, please... Al had a great sense of humor and an unforgettable smile. May you find comfort knowing the Al is rejoicing with our Lord Savoir. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to each and everyone of you his family and friends. Al and I have worked together for many, many years and I considered him my friend. Though we didn't hang out or talk on a daily basis I know we were each there for one another when the need arose.
I shall have wonderful memories of this quiet, yet eccentric man who was my coworker and friend. May our great Lord keep you in His refuge during these trying days. Rest assured that those who got to know Al loved him dearly. Al shall be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
