I will always have fond - loving memories of Mama Barrera as she always welcomed me in her home like an adopted daughter. We had a lot of good times and especially at holidays as she enjoyed cooking for her family making tamales, tortillas, cookies, and even a rabbit cake at Easter for the children as well as a variety of other wonderful foods. She made "Beautiful Floral Arrangements!" and loved creating different kind of crafts. Her Family was her heart and she loved everyone so much and was always there for them. Friends were for a life time and special to her. She will be always be remembered as a loving, kind, caring, helpful, extraordinary woman, and missed a lot as she was very dear to us all.
