Sara G. Castaneda, 87, of Rio Hondo, Texas passed away on December 3, 2008 in Rio Hondo, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Castaneda, Sr.
Ms. Castaneda is survived by her children, Ramona Ramon, Tomas (Guadalupe) Castaneda, Jr., Petra Lopez, Teresa (Martin) Melendez, Juanita Guzman, Gilberto Castaneda, Adelita Colon, Elsa (Juan) Cisneros and Ricardo (Veronica) Castaneda; 49 grandchildren, 117 great grandchildren and 32 great - great grandchildren.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. that evening at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Assembly in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow to Rio Hondo Community Cemetery.
