Sergio Daniel Silva, 27, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by: maternal grandmother, Cuca Rivera; paternal grandparents, Silvestre and Aurelia Delgado de Silva; paternal uncle: Cristobal Silva; and maternal uncle, Eloy Gonzalez. Sergio is survived by his parents, Polo and Hilda R. Silva; three sisters: Denise (Jody Breaux) Rivera, Eva Silva, and Isabel Silva; four brothers: Jose Silva, Silvestre Silva, Victor Silva, and Julio Silva; 13 nephews and nieces: maternal grandfather, Modesto Rivera; four uncles: Beto (Mary) Rivera, Modesto Rivera, Jr., Armando Rivera, Ralph Rivera; and four aunts: Minnie Gonzales, Cynthia (Leo) Silva, Noami Rivera, and Maria Del Refugio (Ramon) Lopez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 705 S. Longoria St in Port Isabel. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.
