Dolores (Lola) Saldivar Trevino, 72, of San Benito, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2015. She loved to cook for her big family and friends. She never cooked in small portions, there was always room for one more at the dinner table. Her specialties were fried chicken, spaghetti, stuffed mushrooms, and ceviche. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents Gabriel and Maria Ramos Saldivar, her siblings Lucy Amaya, Rafael and Samuel Saldivar, and her grandchildren Chastity Martinez, Matthew and Madeline Dickens. She is survived by her loving husband, Joel Trevino, of 37 years, her 6 children; James Dickens, Kathy Dickens, Aaron Dickens, Andrew (Mari) Dickens, Lori (Leo) Arguelles, and Lisa (Tony) Garcia and 14 grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers; Juan (Felicitas+), Bernardo (Lucila), Oswaldo (Eva), and Jose (Jimmye) Saldivar and sisters; Minerva (Fred) Pacheco, Amanda (Santos+) DeLa Rosa, and Tina (Heriberto) Amaya. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 12 pm to 9 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Benedict's Catholic Church on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1 pm with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be: John Saldivar, Adan Saldivar, Homer Saldivar, Michael De La Rosa, Adrian Amaya, Herb Amaya, Rene Martinez, and Mark Muniz.
