Margarita G. Lopez, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on February 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basilio Lopéz; her daughter, Felipa Lopéz; her mother, Maria Antonia Lopéz; her father, Guadalupe Garcia; and her brother, Ventura Garcia. Surviving her are her sons and daughters: Edelmira Cerdan, Gregoria De La Cruz, Maria Magdalena Garcia, Olga Garza, Jose Lopéz, Maria Delia Delgado, Nereida Covarrubias, Armando Lopéz, Gerardo Lopéz, Hector Lopéz, Basilio Arturo Lopéz, Sonia Aguilar' four sisters: Guadalupe Garcia, Maria Olga Castillo, Maria Isabel Castillo, Joaquina Castillo; and one brother, Amado Castillo; 55 grandchildren; 128 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
