Ana Laura graduated from Los Fresnos High school in 1997; she was employed for the past 8 years with Ninos, Inc. Head Start of the Port Isabel and Brownsville area; she was a member of Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel and Christ the King Catholic Church in Brownsville . She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Silvero Hernandez; and maternal grandparents, Luis and Maria Perez de Gonzalez. Ana Laura is survived by her companion, Ruben Mercedes of Alabama ; her parents, Claudio and Martha Hernandez of Brownsville ; a sister, Adriana H. (David) Zamora of Brownsville; a brother, Claudio Martin (San Juana) Hernandez of Los Fresnos; 3 nephews and 1 niece; paternal grandmother, Tomasa Hernandez; several aunts, uncles and other relatives of Port Isabel, TX Visitations will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 10:00 A.M to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral in San Benito . A Chapel Service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville , TX .
