San Benito,TX- Juan Rivas Jr.,45, entered into rest on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Harlingen Medical Center. He was a loving husband , father and son who will never be forgotten and loved forever and dearly. Juan is preceded in death by his family members; Joe Rivas, Gilbert Rivas, Norma Rivas, Flora Rivas, Ruben Rivas and Esteban Rivas. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Juan and Felicita Rivas, wife Norma Rivas and their children Juan Jesus Rivas and Denise Nicole Rivas. Also surviving Juan are his nieces and nephews, Edward Rivas, Jerry Salasar, Albert Salasar, Linda De La Rosa and Christal De La Rosa , Dominga Rivas and many extended family members. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. from 9:00 p.m., with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at St.Theresa Catholic Church with burial to follow at San Benito City Cemetery here in San Benito.
