Port Isabel, TX - Miguel Angel Martinez passed peacefully into eternal life at his residence on November 12, 2008. He was born in Laguna Vista, Texas on March 13, 1975 and raised in Port Isabel, Texas. He graduated in 1994 from Port Isabel High School. He loved to play chalupa bingo and pool with his many special friends. He is preceded in death by his Maternal grandfather, Juan Jose Garza; Paternal grandparents, David C. Sr. and Rosa R. Martinez; uncles, David R. Jr. and Guadalupe R. Martinez, Sr.; and cousin, David Martinez III. He is survived by his loving parents, Rosendo R. Sr. and Olivia G. Martinez; Maternal grandmother, Expectacion (Peta) B. Garza; his loving sister, Rozanna M. (Samuel) Barrera; 5 loving brothers, Juan Carlos, Rosendo Jr. (Monica), Steven (Marisa), LeeRoy (Perla) and Raynaldo (Nelly); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home located at 395 S. Sam Houston in San Benito. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Cremation will follow.
