Obituary of Griselda Rodriguez
Please share a memory of Griselda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Griselda Molina Rodriguez, 47, of South Padre Island, Texas, was called home on Monday, December 29, 2014.
Griselda was always a caring and giving person. She loved to help in any way. Treating everyone with the same love and affection as she would her own children. With that big smile on her face and her heart of gold, she cared and gave to others; whether it be as a nurse at work helping to heal the sick and wounded, or at home with friends and family helping to heal both their physical and emotional wounds. From the time her life started all the way to the end and even after she was able and willing to help. Even in death Griselda continues to help heal the sick, by donating her organs so that others may have a second chance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Maria Molina.
She is survived by her loving husband, Pedro Rodriguez Jr.; daughters: Cynthia (Rosendo) Vasquez and Lilian Rodriguez (Angel Quiroz); her son, Edwardo Rodriguez; siblings: Lydia, Lupita, Zonia, Chucho, Santos, Carlos, Billy, and Jose Luis; grandchildren: Mallarie Quiroz and Aaralyne Quiroz; and numerous nephews and nieces.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and memorial visitation will held on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, Texas.
