Odelia Guajardo Salazar, 80, of Los Fresnos, TX, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Odelia was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a long time member of Santa Cecilia Catholic Church and a dedicated house wife. Odelia will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eusebio Salazar, Sr.; her parents, Jose Guajardo and Nieves Alvarez Guajardo; and 14 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Delia Torres (Zeke); her sons Eusebio, Jr. (Rosemary) and Noel Salazar; her grandchildren: Eusebio "EC" Salazar, Veronica Ipina (Mikey), and Jenny Maxine Torres; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 with rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, TX with burial services following at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, TX. The family would like to thank Dr. Cecil Simmons for many years of care, Dr. Laura Cisneros, and Dr. Jason Philips.
