Obituary of Tammy Galloway

Tammy Sue Galloway, April 2, 1959 - November 14, 2014
Tammy was a lifetime resident of the Port Isabel area, currently residing in Laguna Heights.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alvah T. "Jimmy" Galloway III; and their three sons: Allen Thomas (Maria), James Anthony (Sarah) and Alvah Thomas IV. Also surviving Tammy is her sister, Belinda (Marcos) Ochoa; brother, Jay Titman; granddaughters, Avalee Mearl and Emma; sisters-in-law, Terri L. Galloway, Polly Galloway, and Penny (Mark) Filter; mother-in-law, Peggy Ann Galloway; along with numerous nieces, nephews.
Tammy is preceded in death by her Mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Hull and her father, Marvin L. Hull.
Tammy and Jimmy were together in marriage and life for over thirty (30) years. Tammy actively supported her husband with his landscaping and charter fishing businesses while managing to raise their three sons in a loving home environment. Jimmy and "the boys" were totally devoted to Tammy throughout her life, especially during her years of battling breast cancer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance to her wishes.
The Galloway and Hull families would like to extend our extreme appreciation to all our friends and family members that have shown nothing but kindness and support during this long journey for Tammy to survive the battle with breast cancer. Without you we would have been unable to make it from day to day.
