Waco, TX - Raul M. Luna, 89, passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at Providence Healthcare Medical Center in Waco, TX.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Manuela (Nellie) R. Luna.
Mr. Luna is survived by his children, Luis (Desideria) Luna, Berta E. Sorvala, Delia (Jim) Kopchak, Raul Roberto Luna and Norma Linda (Carl) Hunsinger; his grandchildren, Donny P. Sorvala, Jennifer L. Gomez, Jason E. Kopchak, Jorge Luis Luna, Alfredo Luna, Gloria Cristina Luna, Kathleen N. Guerrero and Christopher Hunsinger; 3 great grandchildren, Maya Elizabeth and Claire Noelle Sorvala, Devon Anthony Guerrero and a newborn born on October 15, Nathan Gomez.
Visitations were held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors in San Benito.
Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Committal Service will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.
