San Benito, TX - Gary "Grampy" Michael Messmer, 58, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, son and grandson.
Gary is survived by his wife, Trini Messmer; his children, Michael Messmer, Martha Bull, Tina McKinney, Diana Alaniz, Belinda Sanchez, John D. Garza, David Garza, Charlie Garza and Jesse Rodriguez; 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Words of comfort may be sent to the family of Gary Michael Messmer at www.thomaegarza.com
