Aurora R. Castillo, 90, of San Benito/Denton, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Domingo E. Castillo; her children, Julia Gonzalez, Maria G. Quintero, Magdalena Saldana, Armando and Ismael Castillo; her parents, Guadalupe F. and Ines Rodriguez; sisters, Juana Leija and Maria Rodriguez; and a brother, Clemente Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Otilia (Joe) Silva of Denton, TX. and Domingo (Mary) Castillo Jr. of Houston, TX.; 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchild; siblings, Magdalena Medellin, Francisco Rodriguez, Tomas Rodriguez, and Jesus Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Graveside service at 1:00pm at the Rio Grande Valley Veterans Cemetery, 2520 S Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572.
