San Benito, Texas - Adolfo Gaona Cadena, 79, born on January 11, 1935 to Hilario Cadena and Guadalupe Gaona Cadena, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Adolfo is preceded in death by his wife, Alda Gutierrez Cadena; his parents, Hilario Cadena and Guadalupe Gaona Cadena; his sisters, Teodora Cadena Limon (Magdaleno), Virginia Cadena Gonzales (Aurelio), Consuelo Cadena Galvez (Cornelio), and Magdalena Cadena Limon (Alfredo). He is survived by his daughters, Nora Cadena Luna (Jose Luis), Guadalupe Cadena Piña (Apolinar), Renee Alatorre Castro (Julio), Aurelia Hernandez (Samuel), Alma Barrientos (Margarito); several grandchildren; his sisters, Catalina Cadena Villagomez, Estela Cadena Garza (Humberto+), and Esperanza Cadena Lugo (Ray+); and other extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
