Obituary of Tabatha "Taby" Salazar

Tabatha Dawn Salazar, 38, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away at her residence on September 2, 2014.
Fondly known as Taby, she moved to Port Isabel in 1986 with family and attended Port Isabel ISD graduating in 1994. She attended Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island and later moved to Houston where she completed her degree at The University of Houston. She then returned home to help her family with their original restaurant, "Dirty Al's". Her Family would like to thank all the friends and family who showed their love and support these last few months.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Josefa and Ignacio Salazar; maternal grandfather, Jefferson Ebanks; paternal uncle, Juan Salazar; maternal step-grandparents, Albert Woods and Ann Ebanks; and maternal uncles, Orion Haylock and Herman Haylock.
Surviving her are her parents, Mussette and Alfonso Salazar of Port Isabel, Texas; three brothers: Bryan (Angie) Salazar, Eryson "Ethan" Salazar, both of Port Isabel, Texas; and Cameron (Marti) Salazar of Brownsville, Texas; stepsister, Misha Ebanks Cook of Baltimore, Maryland; maternal grandmother, Ellonoise Woods of Port Isabel, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Pelican Station, 201 S. Garcia St in Port Isabel, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tabatha D. Salazar to the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Madre, 190 Port Rd, Port Isabel, Texas 78578.
