Francisco C. Rodriguez, 83, of Los Fresnos, Texas, entered into rest on August 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Cardona; father, Senon Rodriguez; brother, Marcelino Rodriguez; sister, Katalina Saldana; and great-grandsons, Blas Ernesto Rodriguez and Elias Aron Rodriguez. Surviving him is his wife, Cecilia Silva Rodriguez; his children: Francisco Rodriguez, Jr., Margarita Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez Cavazos, Lourdes Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Blas Rodriguez, Maria De La Luz Rodriguez Gonzalez, Ester Wright, Cecilia Senteno, Elias Rodriguez, and Christopher Ray Rodriguez; 19 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers: Christopher Ray Rodriguez, Alejandro A. Cavazos, Matthew Senteno, Jesus Jaime Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, and Nathaniel Ray Rodriguez. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Maruc Ilias Senteno. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
