Juan Antonio Gonzalez 65, of San Benito, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Rosa Gonzalez; and brother-in-law, Joe F. Cavazos. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda M. Gonzalez; three children: Leticia Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, Juan Antonio (Nydia) Gonzalez, Jr of California, and Jennifer Gonzalez of San Benito, Texas; three grandchildren: Jennae Gonzalez, Jason Gonzalez, and Mia Romero; his sister, Gracie G. Cavazos; nephews and niece, Rolando, Roel, and Jo Ann Cavazos, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. Serving as pallbearers: Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Jr., Rolando Cavazos, Roel Cavazos, Rogelio Gonzalez, Rodolfo Gonzalez, and Jose Luis Perez. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Jason Ace Gonzalez.
