Obituary of Ricarda Gomez

Ricarda De La Cruz Gomez, 93, of San Benito, Texas, went to be with her Saviour on June 29, 2014.
Ricarda was born on April 2, 1921 to Antonio C. De La Cruz and Maria Del Refugio De La Cruz.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Santos Gomez, Sr., her parents, and granddaughter, Priscilla Gonzalez.
She is survived by her children: Santos (Adelita) Gomez of Houston, Texas, Yolanda (Francisco+) Gonzalez, Rosa (Juan) Cavazos, San Juana (Oscar+) Ramos; 14 grandchildren: 38 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren, all of San Benito.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Templo Bethesda Iglesia Santa Pentecostes, 480 E. Expressway 77/83 in San Benito, in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
