San Benito, TX - Julian "Cuti" Niño, Jr., 67, of San Benito, TX went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas.
Julian was born on August 12, 1946 in San Benito, TX to the late Julian Niño, Sr. and Domitila C. Nino. He was passionate about music and was an active member of Coronas En El Cielo Ministry. He was always joking and laughing. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Sr. and Domitila C. Nino; and a sister, Nazaria Gonzalez.
Julian is survived by his wife of 39 years, San Juana Niño; his daughters, Marisela (Andres) Nava, Monica (Rafael) Garza, Veronica (Ramiro) Longoria, Irma (David) Juarez, Erica (Joe) Niño, and Hermelinda (Benito) Sanchez; his sons, Daniel (Danielle) Niño and Arturo (Lora) Niño; 33 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Guadalupe (Chana) Niño, Maria (Carlos) Rodriguez, Jose (Antonia) Niño, Catalina (Carlos) Salazar, Valentine (Belma) Niño, Yolanda (Floretino) Niño.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 12 noon to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
A chapel service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Arturo Niño, Daniel Niño, Andres Nava, Ramiro Longoria, Andres Nava Jr., Abraham Nava, Ralph Garza, and Ralph Garza Jr.
