Francisca F. Villarreal, 62, of Laguna Heights, Texas, entered into rest on May 29, 2014. Francisca was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She worked at the Suntide III Condominiums for the past 25 years before retiring in July of 2008. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mario T. Villarreal; her parents, Francisco and Gillermina Lopez Flores; and her stepson, Tomas Cruz Castillo. Surviving her is her husband, Tomas Cruz Santos; her son, Cesar A. (Nora Lisa) Villarreal; her daughter, Ivonne G. (Antonio) Villarreal-Delgadillo; two grandchildren, Aaron M. Villarreal and Joaquin A. Villarreal; and several brother and sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St in Port Isabel, Texas.
