San Benito, Texas- Enedina Macias, 76, was born on September 2, 1937 in San Benito, Texas. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Angel Care Assisted Living. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eufracia Limon Macias; her father, Simon Macias; and her brothers, Tanis Limon and Gavino Macias, Sr. Enedina is survived by her five siblings: Lucio Macias, Petra Guardiola (Late Justo Guadalupe), Timotea Macias, Marcelino (Rosa) Macias, Sr., Jeronimo Macias, and Guadalupe Macias; as well as various nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 am for an 11:00 am funeral mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Serving as pallbearers: Marcelino Macias, Sr., Jeronimo Macias, Ernesto Guardiola, Eliazar Guardiola, Sr., Luis Limon, and Martin Limon. Honorary pallbearers: Tony Limon, Roman Rodriguez, Jr., and Jesus Jose Guardiola.
