Obituary of Sr. Lozano

Alfredo Lozano Sr., 83, of Primera, Texas, went home to our Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
"Welo" as we all knew him was a funny, caring, loving man that everyone loved to have around. His family was always his main priority. As "Welo" always said "nomas para la pastilla". He will be missed terribly by all who were blessed to know him.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Bacilia Lozano; son, Ruben Lozano, parents, Joaquin and Andrea Lozano; brother, Enrique Lozano; sister, Lilia Lozano; and grandchildren, Yolanda Marroquin and Baby Alfredo Lozano.
Alfredo is survived by his loving children: Yolanda (Ruben) Marroquin, Alfredo (Lourdes) Lozano Jr., Sergio (Margarita) Lozano, Nora (Aurelio) Meza, Mirtha (Ricardo) Heredia, and Rogelio (Juanita) Lozano; brothers: Joaquin (Carmela +) Lozano Jr. and Ramiro (Concepcion) Rodriguez; sisters: Guadalupe "Lupe" (Bruno+) Garcia, Elida (Perfecto+), and Norma Lozano; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Chapel service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as Alfredo's pallbearers: Rogelio Lozano, Alfredo Lozano, Jr., Sergio Lozano, Ruben Marroquin, Aurelio Meza, and Alfredo "Fred" Lozano III. Honorary pallbearers are Ruben Marroquin, Jr. and Rogelio Lozano, Jr.
