Jorge Luis Casarez, 54, of San Benito, Texas, entered into rest on March 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulogio and Inez Casarez; siblings: Tomasa Casarez, Rosario Hernandez, Santa Gonzalez, and Juan Casarez; and brother-in-law, George Montez. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Belinda Casarez; his children: Erik Stephen Montez, George Casarez, and Lynda Ann Casarez; his siblings: Eulogio Casarez, Jr., Carmen Casarez, Donicio Casarez, Jose Casarez, Guadalupe Casarez, and Antonio Casarez; five grandchildren; his parents-in-law, Benito and Concha Montez; brothers-in-law: Victor(Letty) Montez and Chris (Cindy) Montez; sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Larry) Rosales; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Cremation will follow in accordance with his wishes.
