Cristina T. Ramirez, 47, of Port Isabel., Texas, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014. She was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, TX. She graduated from Porter High School in 1985. She worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Madre. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She was devoted to God, her husband, and her children. She lived life to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Crispin Ramirez, Jr. Cristina is survived by her second husband, Carlos Rivera; her children, Crispin Ramirez III, Victoria Noelle Ramirez, Roland Ray Ramirez, and Robert Lee Ramirez; her parents, Emilio L. and Victoria P. Tabares; two brothers, Noe Emilio Tabares and Joel Eduardo Tabares; two sisters, Corina Tabares and Criselda Rookstool; also several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria, in Port Isabel.
