Rancho Viejo, Texas- On the morning of Wednesday, February 12th, 2014, David Ronald Usher departed this earth after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57 years old. David was born to Mae Celestina Goodrich Usher and Charles Richard Wardlaw Usher on December 27th, 1956 in Belize City, Belize. He was the youngest of 12 siblings. David completed elementary and high school in Belize, then attended Allegheny College in Meadville, P.A. David worked in healthcare all his life. For 26 years he managed Drugs Wholesale Depot/Community Drug Stores in Belize and subsequently served as Administrator of The Heart Institute of Brownsville for the past 8 years. He spent many of his best days boating off the shores of Belize and sailing the bay of South Padre Island. He will be remembered for his cheerful spirit, his eternal optimism and his zest for life. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his brother Gerald Usher. David is survived by his wife, Claudette Diane Usher; three children, Jonathan Usher, Jacqueline Moga (married to Benjamin Moga), and Janine Usher; five brothers and five sisters. A memorial is being held at The Heart Institute of Brownsville at 3pm on Saturday, February 15th, 2014.
