The Woodlands, Texas: Aaron Garcia, 85 passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at The Terrace at The Woodlands.
Aaron was born August 15, 1928 in San Benito, Texas. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon return from the Army, he attended and graduated from Pan American University. He lived most of his adult life in Houston, Texas where he worked for the City of Houston in Public Administration. He retired to The Woodlands, Texas where he lived for the past 20 years. For these past 20 years he enjoyed bicycling, lunches with his friends, and most of all traveling and ship cruises with his wife, Polly.
He was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Rogelio and Paula Garcia and his two sisters Amparo Piel and Aurora Trevino.
Left to cherish his memory: are his dear wife Polly Garcia and their dog Somby of The Woodlands, TX; his niece Norma Brown and her husband Hubert of Dallas, TX; his two nephews Roger Trevino and his wife Marilyn of Converse, TX and Tony Trevino, his wife Katherine and their children Sam, Marisa, Cristina & Gabriel of Austin, TX; his cousins Mila G. Salinas of San Benito, TX, Idalia G. Montalvo and her husband Alfredo of San Benito, TX, Norma G. Aten and her husband Gehrie of Southlake, TX; and numerous other cousins.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Mont Meta mausoleum chapel in San Benito.
