San Benito, TX - Maria Del Carmen Zamora, 70 of San Benito passed away on Monday, June 16, 2008 at her residence in San Benito. She is preceded in death by her parents, Teodoro and Maria Del Carmen Valdivia; and a granddaughter, Michelle Quintero. Ms. Zamora is survived by her husband, Arturo Garza Zamora of Port Isabel; her children, Armando (Maria) Zamora of Los Fresnos, Adriana Zamora of San Benito, Arturo (Elida) Zamora, Jr. of Houston, Hipolito (Georgina) Zamora of San Benito, Maria (Benito) Morales of Houston and Bernabe (Clarissa) Zamora of Indiana; 38 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Celia Valdivia; 5 brothers, Fernando Valdivia, Hector Valdivia, Arturo Lucio Valdivia, Bernabe Valdivia and Wilfrido Cesar Valdivia Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal Service will follow to San Benito City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Armando Zamora, Jr., Luis Zamora Aguilar, Hipolito Zamora, Jr., Leroy Zamora, Arturo Zamora, Jr., Jaime Rodriguez and Richard Mata.
