Lupe A. Miranda, 68, of San Benito, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Miranda; and three brothers: Alfonso Miranda, Prudencio Miranda, and Jesus Miranda, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his companion of 22 years, Esperansa Gonzales; his mother, Josepha A. Aguirre; daughter, Cindy (David) Cisneros and son, Lupe Antonio (Grace) Miranda; brother, Juan (Maria) Miranda; and sisters: Rosa Calleros, Josepha (Pedro) Adame, Hortencia Rincones, Maria DeLuna, Jessica (Arturo) Cantu, Graciela (Manuel) Vasquez, and Flora (Juan) Medrano. Also surviving him are his four grandchildren: David Cisneros, Jr., Celina Cisneros, Alisha Cisneros, and Matthew Cisneros. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
