Lydia Leos Aguirre, 81, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 after a long illness in Harlingen, TX.
Lydia was the daughter of the late Lucindo Leos, Sr. and Aurelia Tapia Leos.
She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Raul, Jose Guadalupe Leos, Josefina L. Davila, Concepcion L. Munguia, Jose Leos, Lucindo Leos, Jr., and Maria Gloria Bustinza.
Lydia is survived by her sons and daughters, Rolando Leos, Raul Garza, Jr., Robert Leos, Rodolfo Aguirre, and Rosie L. Longoria; grandchildren, Raquel Garza, Raul Garza, III, Adrian (Cindy) Leos, Adan Longoria, Jr., Daniel Longoria, Micole and Jessica Aguirre; two great granddaughters, Mia and Izabella Leos; siblings, Manuel (Oralia) Leos and Lucy L. (Andy) Cortez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 1pm - 9pm, with a rosary at 7 pm at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
Chapel service will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow to El Carmen Cemetery in Brownsville, TX.
Pallbearers are Rolando Leos, Robert Leos, Raul Garza, Jr., Rodolfo Aguirre, Dr. Xavier Leos, James Andrew Cortez. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph A. Cortez, Adan Longoria, Jr., Esmeralda O'Neill, A. Christina Bustinza, Adrian Leos, and Juan A. Davila.
