Obituary of Mary Moore

San Benito,TX- Mary Moore, a lifelong resident of San Benito, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the age of 96. She was born on December 17, 1914 to John D. and Mary Borello, and Married Harry Moore on March 31, 1931.
Her cheerful smile, kind heart, and wonderful cooking will be missed by all who knew her. She retired as a cafeteria manager for Dr. C.M. Cash elementary in the San Benito School district in 1981, and continued serving others through the San Benito Church of the Nazarene and as a volunteer for the San Benito food Pantry.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry Moore; her daughter, Mary Catherine Meredith, her brother, Joseph Bordello, and granddaughter and husband, Laura and Joseph Dafft III.
She leaves behind four sons and daughter-in-laws, Virgil (Louise) Moore of Rockport,TX; Clifford (Cindy) Moore of Houston,TX; Frank (Jeanette) Moore of San Benito,TX; and Gary (Patsy) Moore of San Benito,TX; and son-in-law, Ernest Meredith of Dunnellon,FL. She is also survived by her brother and three sisters, Adolfo "Dot" (Nelda) Borello of Alvin,TX; Julia Conlisk of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Lenora Rix of Seguin,TX, Valerie Deyo of Harlingen, TX and sister-in-law, Joyce Borello of Phoenix,AZ. Remembering her love are 13 grand-children, Debora Moore Webb and James Moore; Vicki Meredith Bond and Richard Meredith; David Moore, Kelly Moore Folmsbee, Kortni Moore and William Moore; Sharlene and Kathlene Moore, Melanie Moore Stanford, Angela Moore Lincoln, and Keith Moore; Mary is also survived by 13 great-grand children and six great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Thomae Garza Funeral Directors, 395 S. Sam Houston, San Benito,TX.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito with Rev. Judy Panoska of the San Benito First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
