San Benito, TX - H.G (Abelina) Cantu 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 06, 2008 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was a native of San Juan, Texas and a resident of San Benito, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Santiago D. Cantu; a son, Guillermo G. Cantu; And Daughter, Mary Alice Cantu.
Mrs. Cantu is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth (Gilberto) Flores, Ruben G. (Rosa) Cantu, Becky L. Cantu and Santiago (Diana) Cantu Jr. 11 grandchildren and 4 Great-granddaughters, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Sunday June 8, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7p.m. at Thomae- Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal service will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
