Juanita Betancourt, 89, of Laureles, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Manuel and Florencia Betancourt; two brothers: Manuel and Juan Betancourt; and one sister: Concepcion Betancourt.
Juanita is survived by her sister, Maria B. Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Committal service will follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.
