Ramona Linda Dominguez, 48, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God Church and worked at the HEB Deli for many years. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Dominguez; mother Ramona Garza; brother Juan Rivera; sister Margarita Rivera; maternal grandparents: Felipa Jijon and Jose Ubin Garza; and paternal grandparents: Pedro Reyes and Susanna Castillo. Ramona is survived by two daughters: Shima D. (Pablo Echavarria) Garza and Sharine Garza; two sons: Juan Daniel (Monique Vasquez) Garza and Diego Trujillo; father, Moises Castillo Reyes; sister, Ester R. (Jose "Nicholas") Hernandez; and two nieces: Leilani Hernandez and Alana Hernandez. Also surviving her are six grandchildren: Pablo Noe Echavarria, Gabriel Ethan Echavarria, Jaylyn D'Andrea Garza, Evalinda Varela, Angeline Rose Garza, Aaliyah Isabel Martinez, and one on the way. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm, at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church located on 110 Port Rd in Port Isabel, Texas. Visitation will resume at 8:30 am with the funeral service to begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steven Hyde officiating. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Juan Daniel Garza, Diego Trujillo, Jose N. Hernandez, Pablo Echavarria, Ronald Garza, and Richard Puentes.
