Dr. Kenneth Joseph Copeland "Doc," 65, entered into eternal peace Friday, September 27, 2013, at Valley Baptist Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard & Antoinette Copeland; and Brother Richie Copeland. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years, Deborah Copeland; his three daughters Stacey Landeck, Amy Moskal & Kendra Byrum; his six grandchildren Christopher, Caleb, Genvieve, Jameson, Curren & Evelyn; his two brothers Robert Copeland & Vincent Dorio; his sister Nancy Bergman and her children Kaitlyn & Danny Kiely; and many close friends Kenneth was born April 27, 1948 in Manhattan, New York. In 1966 he graduated from Albertus Magnus Catholic High School in Bardonia, New York and began his studies at Long Island University where he received a degree in education. He taught English for 20 years. He later attended Parker Chiropractic College; graduated in 1995, and in 1997 opened Lighthouse Chiropractic. In addition to work, Kenneth had numerous hobbies, including building and riding motorcycles, specifically, "Harley-Davidsons," dune buggies, sailing, listening to oldies music, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service organized by his family will be held at their home 310 Santa Isabel Blvd. Laguna Vista, TX on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
