There is certain people you meet throughout your life and you don't forget about them because they made an impact in your life. I only met Andy once when he came down to Laredo to visit one of my friends and in that one day he made a lasting impression. Andy was the first "San Antonionan" I met personally and boy did he represent his citizens well! He was genuine, good-hearted, and charismatic. I'll never forget his confidence when we went to HEB and he went up to the best looking lady to get her phone # lol. (Lady said he was charming but she was married). I'll also never forget the blast we had that weekend at a 21st birthday party and when I created your Facebook account you never used lol . Andy earned my respect and trust immediately which few people can do. Andy you will forever be remembered as great person and a Hero. thank you for the memories!

My heartfelt condolences to your mother and grandmother. What tragic circumstances. I was sick when I heard the news. Andy you will be sorely missed, as well as your amazing spirit. You were a wonderful friend and my children adored you. You will be truly missed, you will always be loved, and your death will not be in vain. You are a HERO. You died doing what most 20 yr olds wouldn't think of doing...you were on the right side of the law. Your memory and death will serve as a model of courage and respect for us and for younger generations. My sincerest condolences to your mother, for she is now without a son. My heart aches for your grandmother. But most of all, my souls cries for your aunt Nena...she kept you safe and under her wing...she made sure that you were walking the straight line...she made sure that you weren't on the wrong side of the law, as those cowards were. You were one of a kind and your infectious smile will always be in my heart. We love you so much Andy.
